Welcome to the PK Games installation guide. If you are new to downloading Android applications (APKs) outside of the Google Play Store, don’t worry! Follow these simple steps to get your favorite apps and games running on your device in no time.
Step 1: Enable “Unknown Sources”
Android devices, by default, block the installation of apps from unknown sources for security. To install files from PK Games:
- Open your device Settings.
- Go to Security or Privacy (on some devices, it’s under Apps > Special Access).
- Look for “Install Unknown Apps” or “Unknown Sources”.
- Toggle the switch to ON for the browser you use (like Chrome) or your File Manager.
Step 2: Download the APK File
- Browse pkgames.net and find the app or game you want.
- Click the Download button.
- Wait for the download to complete. You can see the progress in your notification bar.
Step 3: Install the APK
- Once the download is finished, open your File Manager app.
- Go to the Downloads folder.
- Tap on the APK file you just downloaded.
- A prompt will appear asking if you want to install the application. Click Install.
- Wait for the installation process to finish.
Step 4: How to Install Games with OBB Data (If required)
Some high-end games come with an additional OBB file. If the game you downloaded has an OBB file, follow these extra steps:
- Download both the APK and the OBB (Zip) file.
- Install the APK but DO NOT open it yet.
- Extract the OBB Zip file using a file explorer (like ZArchiver).
- Copy the extracted folder (usually named
com.developer.game). - Go to your Internal Storage: Android > obb.
- Paste the folder there.
- Now, you can open the game and enjoy!
Common Troubleshooting Tips:
- App Not Installed: Ensure you have enough storage space on your phone or uninstall any previous version of the same app.
- Parsing Error: This usually happens if the APK file is corrupted or not compatible with your Android version. Try downloading the file again.
